Address War 3 – a view from the battlefield – reflections on government geo-data policy in an Open Data age

eeo_logo1This week’s EEO-AGI(S) seminar will be given by Prof. Bob Barr OBE of Manchester Geomatics and also the University of Liverpool. His talk is
entitled:

“Address War 3 – a view from the battlefield – reflections on government geo-data policy in an Open Data age”

The seminar will take place THIS Friday 24th May at 4pm in the Old Library, Geography Building, Univ. of Edinburgh, Drummond Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9XP.

A selection of refreshments and snacks will be provided.

This is the final seminar this season however look out for next year’s programme which is currently being put together and already has a number of interesting talks lined up.

Also, a reminder that following all EEO-AGI(S) Seminars are AGI Geo-Drinks for informal professional networking held from 5.30 in Teviot Library Bar, Bristo Sq, EH8 9AJ. All welcome – please do come along and meet colleagues and fellow AGI members.
